The results of a game played by the Clarke family and feared by friends and relations.

Philippa Bower
The author, Philippa Bower, played the game with her brothers and father - plus, occasionally, her mother and any visiting friends and relations, who could not escape.
She went on to become a poet and belongs to a group who performs in West Sussex
