Sara Thunell är uppväxt i Uppsala och bosatt där än idag. Hon började skriva dikter och noveller under gymnasiet och har skrivit sen dess. Givit ut en diktsamlng. Två dikter publicerades i Uppsala tidningen 24:e maj 2015.
