Boken handlar om min far, Verner Svenungsgård, som verkade som folkskollärare och organist i Kareby, numera Kungälvs kommun under åren 1923 - 61.
Boken beskriver även vår släkts bakgrund i Kville, norra Bohuslän, ända från mitten av 1600 - talet och är tänkt som en hyllning till alla till alla som gjort att det blev som det blev.
Staffan Svenungsgård
Jag heter Staffan Svenungsgård och är son till bokens huvudperson. Som framgår av boken flyttade jag1965 till Stockholm för att studera på Gymnastik och Idrottshögskolan (GIH). Jag har arbetat som idrottslärare i västra Stockholm under
nästan fyrtiotvå år och lever nu ett härligt pensionärsliv tillsammans med min fru Lena i Barkarby, Järfälla.
